Today I wanted to write about the Yan-gant-y-tan, a Brythonic fire spirit. Yan-gant-y-tan wanders around Finistère at night guided by the lights of his flaming hand. If a human runs into the Yan-gant-y-tan, they will be cursed with misfortune unless they give the Yan-gant-y-tan gold. Yan-gant-y-tan is linked to the Scottish Will-o-wisp.
