To finish off Spooky Season I wanted to write about Cthulhu, the main Lovecraftian god, and a water elemental spirit.
Cthulhu is the great-great-grandson of Azathoth. In The Call of Cthulhu, he is described as being a 100 foot green octopus-dragon-human hybrid who is hibernating in the Pacific Ocean.
Side note Lovecraftian polytheism is mostly built on egrogores over gods/deities.
